HEALTH INITIATIVES

Youthreach in collaboration with Max India Foundation, ICARE Hospital Noida and Dr. Shroff Charitable Hospital has initiated health programmes for the underprivileged communities in the Delhi, NCR, Rewari and Roorkee region under which immunisation , general health camps eye camps and dental capms are being organised.

Health camps by Max India Foundation
Youthreach in collaboration with Max India Foundation has initiated a health programme for the underprivileged communities in the Delhi, NCR region, under which immunisation and general health camps are being organised for Youthreach’s partner organisation . Under the general health camp, Max Healthcare doctors from specialties such as ENT,eye, gynaecology and general pediatrics provide free consultation and medicines to the people in the community.To date more than 30 such camps reaching out to over 10,000 people have been held with our partner organisations at Sshrishti, Vidya and Child, Salaam Balaak Trust, Mobile Creches and at government schools and villages in Bawal, Haryana under the AIS Community Engagement Programme.

Eye Camps by ICare Hospital
Youthreach in collaboration with ICARE Hospital, Noida organised 20 eye camps across 18 villages of Rewari district. A total of 1920 patients including children were examined during these eye camps and 225 patients were advised cataract surgery. All the patients requiring surgical intervention were transported free of charge to the Noida Hospital and post surgery dropped to their respective villages. We at Youthreach are deeply thankful to ICARE Hospital, Noida for orgainising these eye camps.

Eye Camps by Dr. Shroff Eye Charitable Hospital
Dr. Shroff Eye Camps by Dr. Shroff Eye Charitable Hospital In Roorkee 4 eye camps were conducted at Latherdeva Hoon village in collaboration with Dr. Shroff Eye Charitable Hospital, Saharanpur. A total of 259 patients were screened of which 17 were advised to undergo a cataract surgery. Youth Dental Programme

Youth Dental Programme
Under this programme, basic information on oral health was provided to the underprivileged youth enrolled for various vocational training courses at our partner organisations. Close to 2000 youth and their family members were reached out to in Delhi, Chandigarh and Mumbai.
