‘Dreams and Journeys’ is a book about the aspirations and accomplishments of 53 young people in the city of Delhi, each of whom have sought to create a life of possibilities and self-expression for themselves, made possible through Youthreach funded programmes. It explores how young people in India can be nurtured and encouraged to express themselves through the work of art and apprenticeship, skill building and entrepreneurship programmes. The youth profiled have accessed programmes through a network of Youthreach’s partners. The publication inspires and encourages the public at large to provide such opportunities and to fund similar programmes.
2000 copies of the book were printed and are being sold at all leading book stores in Delhi and retail outlets.
