The Corporate Programme in Youthreach seeks to instill a sense of collective responsibility among corporates and businesses, by sensitizing them through awareness initiatives and creating spaces that enable them to reach out through volunteering, material contributions, capacity building, training & employment, sponsorship, and financial resources in response to critical community needs.
As an organisation that promotes Corporate Social Responsibility, Youthreach believes it is critical for a company to contribute to improving the quality of the lives of its employees, their families, their local communities, the environment and society at large. CSR is not just another cost to the ‘bottom-line’. It is in fact, as studies and experience have shown, an opportunity for companies to really make a difference while at the same time, enhance their abilities to recruit and retain staff, address the sustainability of the company, protect their reputation, create goodwill amongst stakeholders and build customer loyalty.
Youthreach works with companies to inspire and identify CSR interests and map these with critical community needs to develop highly leveraged and high-impact CSR programmes. Being positioned as a bridge between grassroots NGOs, working across the country on a spectrum of issues and companies who are interested in CSR, Youthreach offers Corporates opportunities to develop, manage and monitor CSR programmes across India.
